![]() ![]() I have lots of links between notes and there is no way I've found of doing that in Apple notes. However I often then copy/paste it into Evernote when I get home. ![]() I pretty much treat Evernote as read only on my iPhone as trying to edit an Evernote note on my iPhone usually leaves me swearing like a sailor. I use Apple notes and Evernote but I only use Apple Notes for simple notes that I expect to be updating on the go because I find it works better on my iPhone. I like this method because everything is inside one note! If I wanted, I could add a simple table inside the note for dates of cleaning so I can keep track over time. Lastly, for any maintenance items like filter cleaning, I sent a recurring task inside the note. Then I add a general note reminder for the date the warranty expires. I've scanned all the documentation as a PDF and added it to the note, along with the receipt for proof of purchase. An example of this would be the warranty information for our new dishwasher. But, I had to help her with something on her phone one day, and she had 500+ notes!įor items she won't be interested in, I prefer to keep all that in Evernote and use it's built in tasks and reminders. ![]() I never pictured my wife as a huge Apple Notes user because she loves writing everything on notepads. We shared one note that had all the checklist items we needed to pack. Another use case was our recent vacation. If I store an Apple Note with information we both need, such as the codes to get into our storage unit, I just share the note with her through iCloud and she is good at using the search. But, for family things, it has to be Apple Notes because she doesn't use anything else. Evernote is more for my personal productivity and learning. One reason why I keep one foot in the Apple Notes camp is for sharing with my wife. ![]()
